J/Secure™
JCB’s J/Secure™ authentication program for card not present transactions has been protecting JCB cardmembers from identity theft since 2004. J/Secure™ makes online commerce more secure by adding an important identification step which enables cardmembers to directly authenticate their card with the issuer.
J/Smart™
As a global payment brand, JCB developed the J/Smart™ EMV compliant chip card application for our issuing partners worldwide. JCB is a member organization of EMVCo along with American Express, Discover, MasterCard, UnionPay, and Visa.

JCB and other major payment brands founded the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council in 2006 to manage the ongoing evolution of payment security on a global level. The council's security standards for protecting customer information and preventing card fraud build a secure payment environment where customers can use their card with confidence.

and provided by JCB. JCB has been expanding its issuance of JCB card with Holographic Magnetic Stripe since 2012. By using Holographic Magnetic Stripe, JCB has been strengthening security to prevent counterfeit.
