Terms and Conditions for Download of J/Secure™ JCB Root Certificate, J/Secure2.0 Root Certificate and DS Device Information Encryption Key Certificate
Pursuant to the rule relating to J/Secure™ prescribed by JCB, including but not limited to specifications and other relevant documents, which are valid at the time of downloading (“Verification Rule”), it is required (i) to install JCB Root Certificate in introduced ACS and MPI for the implementation of J/Secure™ 1.0 and (ii) to install J/Secure2.0 Root Certificate in introduced ACS and 3DS Server and DS Device Information Encryption Key Certificate in 3DS SDK for the implementation of J/Secure™ 2.0. Please accept these Terms and Conditions, and download and install either (i) JCB Root Certificate or (ii) J/Secure2.0 Root Certificate and DS Device Information Encryption Key Certificate (individually or collectively, “Certificates”) as applicable to J/Secure™ 1.0 or J/Secure™ 2.0 to be implemented. Unless otherwise stipulated herein, the terms herein shall have the same meaning provided in the provisions of Verification Rule.

Terms and Conditions

Please use the Certificates only for the purpose of J/Secure transactions. Use of the Certificates for purposes other than J/Secure transactions shall be prohibited.
- 2.
The Certificates may be downloaded only by issuers of JCB cards, merchants of JCB cards and other companies approved by JCB. Distribution or delivery of the Certificates to any third party is prohibited unless expressly authorized by JCB. In the event that a third party wishes to use the Certificates, please notify the third party of the URL of this website.
- 3.
Please comply with the applicable laws and regulations of the relevant jurisdictions for the download and use of the Certificates.
- 4.
Certain utilizing environment stipulated by Verification Rule and other rules separately prescribed by JCB shall be required to download, install and use the Certificates. Please note that the Certificates may not operate normally in utilizing environments other than the environment described in the preceding sentence.

JCB shall not be liable for any damage, loss, cost or expense arising out of or in connection with download, install or use of the Certificates.
