Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development to Launch JCB Card

December 17 2015, Tokyo - JCB International Co., Ltd. (JCBI), the international operations subsidiary of JCB Co., Ltd., has announced the launch of the Agribank JCB Credit Card with Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank), a leading bank in Vietnam.

Agribank and JCBI have launched the Agribank JCB Credit Card to diversify the bank's products to meet various demands of customers in Vietnam. The launch event was held today to commemorate the starting of issuing international JCB brand cards by Agribank in Vietnam.

The holders of Agribank JCB Credit Card can access the JCB acceptance network with about 29 million merchants and over a million ATMs in 190 countries and territories, and enjoy a lot of benefits provided by Agribank. Customers enjoy a competitive lending interest rate, and all payments for goods and services are free of interest for 45 days when paying off all outstanding loans upon maturity. JCB provides a wide variety of brand services such as “Daily Enjoy” brand promotion special privileges at selected merchants and customer service at airport lounges, and JCB Plaza overseas service counters available at 62 locations around the world.
