Le Meridien Exclusive Free Night and Free Upgrade Offered to All JCB Cardmembers Worldwide

Singapore and Tokyo, Japan, 27 January 2006 - JCB, the only Asia-based international payment brand, and Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts (Le Meridien) today announced that the Le Meridien exclusive offers available to JCB cardmembers in Japan since 1 October 2005, are now open to all 55.9 million JCB cardmembers worldwide. JCB cardmembers can enjoy a free night stay or a free room upgrade with the Le Meridien Passport rate, which is up to 50% off standard room rates. The current offers will run until 31 March 2006.

"The world class accommodations and services available at Le Meridien hotels and resorts fit perfectly with the preferences of JCB cardmembers, who have relied on our quality travel support services for more than 40 years."

With this offer, JCB cardmembers staying at selected hotels in the Asia Pacific region or Europe can enjoy a fourth night free when staying for three consecutive nights on Le Meridien Passport rates. For example, JCB cardmembers can save about EUR985 for a four night stay at Le Meridien Etoile in Paris. At the standard rate, a four night stay costs EUR1,540, but only EUR555 when taking advantage of the JCB Free Night Offer and Le Meridien Passport rates. Another exclusive offer gives JCB cardmembers a free room upgrade upon check-in when staying at any Le Meridien hotel or resort worldwide for two consecutive nights on Le Meridien Passport rates (subject to availability).

1)   The offers are available to all JCB brand card members, and are valid for stays until 31 March 2006. However, reservations must be made before 15 March 2006, and be guaranteed and paid by JCB card.
